Professor Irene Tuffrey-Wijne(RN, PhD) is Professor of Intellectual Disability and Palliative Care at Kingston University, London. She has extensive clinical experience both intellectual disability and palliative care services in the UK. Since 2001, she has led a program of research around intellectual disability, bereavement and palliative care. Her team includes researchers with an intellectual disability.
